AYLUS Dix Hills Branch works with the Alzheimer’s and Dementia center to provide entertainment for patients on May 6, 2023. Volunteers danced with them and engaged them with meaningful conversations to let them enjoy themselves. The environment was warm and fun especially because today was one of our patients birthdays! Volunteers passed around cupcakes and drinks to celebrate, and then cleaned up afterwards.
Due to the impacts of Alzheimer’s and Dementia, some of the seniors struggle to maintain their life efficiently. Through fostering their lively entertainment, volunteers are able to create strong connections, productivity, and fun amongst the seniors and volunteers.
AYLUS Dix Hills is actively working to innovate and improve the senior community’s interest and happiness. We hope to make a positive impact on their well-being.
