On December 12th, 2023, AYLUS Houston continued its heartwarming tradition with the third SMILE Inclusive Playdate at Katy Christian Community Church. This special event, dedicated to children with special needs, not only celebrated the spirit of the season but also fostered a sense of joy, inclusion, and community support. The event was made possible through the steadfast partnership with the Light and Salt Association.
The playdate aimed to create an inclusive space where every child could actively participate and revel in the holiday festivities. Volunteers, who underwent specialized training, ensured that the event maintained a welcoming atmosphere, fostering a sense of community and acceptance.
