Chapel Hill Branch Participates in Bolin Creek Trail Forest Restoration Project on Oct 15, 2023

On October 15th, two members from the AYLUS Chapel Hill Branch helped out in a restoration project to help renovate the area near Bolin Creek Trail. They worked together with others to remove harmful plants, like privet, which were hurting the natural plants there. After working hard for two and a half hours, they helped rid several areas of invasive plants. We hope that by partaking in this project, we have contributed to bettering the ecological balance around Bolin Creek Trail, and motivated others to do the same. We eagerly anticipate our next opportunity to make a positive impact next month.

Volunteers who participated in this event are Vanessa Lin (2.5 hrs) and Alan Gao (2.5 hrs)
