Columbus Branch Collected Donations to Hilliard Food Pantry on July 19th, 2023

There was a major fire on 7/9/23, at Hilliard Food Pantry, which serves over 400 families in the Columbus area, completely wiping out all their stock. https://abc6onyourside.com/news/local/hilliard-food-pantry-a-total-loss-after-fire The pantry are asking the community for help as it seeks to restock supplies. Therefore, AYLUS is running a quick drive again for ANY non-expired food and personal items.Volunteers collected food items, such as pasta, soup, cereals, coffee, cookies, and non-food items, such as tooth brushes and tooth paste, soap, etc, totally weighing more than 40 ibs. On 07/19, volunteer Brenna Li and advisor Dakun, dropped off the donation to the Hilliard Fire Station 83, where collection boxes had been set up and the Hilliard Food Pantry volunteers happened to be there to load up donations to their truck to transport to the pantry.
