AYLUS Dix Hills worked with Long Island Harvest to distribute food to families in need. Volunteers worked to package and distribute food such as milk, egg cartons, yogurt, chicken, beef, fish, hamburgers, eggplants, zucchini, cherries, mashed potatoes, and sanitary items (diapers, toilet paper). These items went to veterans, seniors, or lower income families. Our volunteers were able to serve around 170 families today! The Island Harvest hosts complimented our getup as being the best and most efficient.

AYLUS Dix Hills hopes to continue to support our community in our ongoing initiative of helping minorities.

Volunteers: Ru Xue Jiang (3.5 hrs), Ming Chen (3 hrs),  Bryan Fan (3 hrs), Sara Kong (3 hrs), Nadia Khan (3 hrs), Jason Chen (3 hrs), Chole Zhang (3 hrs)
