On June 12th, 2023, Murrieta AYLUS members helped out with the Little Garden of Hope Project. Since pruning plants when they’re wet increases the spread of diseases, some of the members started off with pruning the tomato plants and others began weeding. After each member’s finished with their task, they then moved on to water the beds, taking extra care to make sure as little water as possible gets on the tomato plants. Seeing that some of their vegetables were ready for harvest, the members notified Jacob’s House’s staff and left garlic and zucchini in the house for the coming family.
