On May 12th, 2023, two members (Lucy Liu and Farah Mbem) of Santa Clarita Valley Branch volunteered at the Canyon Country Community Center for the event “Celebrate” which is a unique cultural experience that brings history and traditions from around the world to the Canyon Country Community every second Friday from April to September. Each month the event will feature one culture.. Lucy and Farah helped staff as the art and crafts volunteers facilitate a variety of craft stations, set-up/clean up stations and other duties as assigned from 5:45pm to 8:30pm.
