Pearland Branch Youth Leaders Fulfilling the Reporting Duty for Project Rise and Shine Dec 2022-Apr 2023

AYLUS Pearland has partnered with Project Rise and Shine since 2020 and has received an annual grant from the Hogg Foundation to promote the mental health of minority youth. As a requirement of the grant, AYLUS Pearland is required to submit expense reports, maintain a list of programs with statistical data, and report to Project Rise and Shine on the impact of each program on youth and society. AYLUS leaders Matthew Niu, Derek Zhu, Jonathan Niu, and Aila Jiang were responsible for all reporting, as follows:

Matthew Niu: Organized receipts and completed PRS expense reports by program category.

Jonathan Niu: Checked and responded to AYLUS Pearland emails and posted activity reports on the AYLUS Pearland website.

Derek Zhu: Maintained an Excel master file of all AYLUS Pearland activities and statistics.

Aila Jiang: Filled out the Hogg Foundation’s Project Rise collaboration report. Documented the time, location, participants, partners, mechanisms for working with the community, decision-making process, and impact of the event for each project sponsored by the Hogg Foundation.
