The East Cobb Branch of AYLUS has been holding online youth tutoring activities. Both Isabel Liu and Bruce Ren helped seniors English Tutoring this moth. All tutoring activities are one-on-one and use Skype, Zoom, Facetime, and similar methods to communica.
Bruce have taught seniors basic English vocabs about animals and furniture‘s. Bruce had search up worksheets and vocab images for the seniors and repeatedly pronounced the words. The seniors have learned many new vocabs. Bruce enjoyed helping the seniors and teaching them English. Isabel Liu helped senior citizens using their preferred book or method of choice. Through these sessions, volunteers are able to help the elderly improve and practice their communication and language skills.
