AYLUS Greater Triangle Volunteers 4/16/2023 Clean up Jordan Lake and Highway on World Earth Day

The Greater Triangle of Aylus volunteers came to Jordan Lake to clean up the forest and high way before and on the World Earth Day. They brought tools to the forest along the lake to clean the plastics, bottles, cans and other garbage in the forest on April 16th. There are so many waste in the large waterside area along the Jordan Lake. On April 23rd, they came again to the Jordan Lake and this time they stopped beside the high way and just went under the bridge, where they found a lot of forgotten rubbish. The group, consisting of three Aylus members, overcame the dangerous and noisy traffic on the high way and the strong sun light. They work hard in the grass and bush beside the high way to collect the refuse. Under the bridge there were many sharp rocks but the volunteers managed to reach and collect many waste.They were encouraged by the tourists on the lake who passed by the bridge in the kayak. The members demonstrated their commitment to protecting the environment on World Earth Day.
