On Sunday, March 26th, two AYLUS Chapel Hill Branch volunteers conducted a workshop for the Atomic Ants Science Olympiad team and gave Codebusters students a tryout after the workshop.
As dedicated event coaches for the team, Kevin Hu introduced the concept of PigPen and Tap Code
ciphers in Codebusters and prepared the test for the Codebusters tryout, while Vivian Zhang focused on teaching the Dancing Men cipher. Nine students participated in the tryouts test, and three will be selected to represent the team to compete in the tournament on May 6th. This is an exciting time to test their knowledge and progress of learning.
