On Sunday, March 19th, volunteers from the AYLUS Columbus Branch performed a Music for You concert at the Senior Star at the Dublin Retirement Village. From 3:00 to 4:00 p.m., volunteers played music for the senior residents on the piano. The volunteers played a variety of classical, jazz arrangements, and pop music. One of the seniors celebrated his 92nd birthday, and Andrea accompanied their chorus of ‘Happy Birthday’ on the piano with enthusiasm. Turnout for the performance was great, and the residents enjoyed the music. We also performed a music request for the song On Eagle’s Wings from a few weeks ago. The volunteers continue to share their love and talent for music with their community.
