On Sunday, March 19, 2023, AYLUS Morrisville/Cary Branch volunteered at the 13th Tobacco Road Marathon and Half Marathon. The event lasted from 7AM to 1PM, totaling 6 hours. The 6 AYLUS volunteers cheered the runners on and provided refreshments and drinks at the finish line. This marathon event attracted over 4,000 runners all over the state.
Over the past 12 years, the Tobacco Road Marathon has raised over $1.3M for charities including JDRF, American Red Cross, Hope For The Warriors, and Triangle Rails To Trails Conservancy. We were really excited to be part of it and help make it happen.
