Chapel Hill Branch Works on Kits to Heart Cancer Care Kits in Christmas Break 2022

During this Christmas break, AYLUS Chapel Hill Branch members worked together to make handmade crafts for cancel care kits. This month, we designed our gifts with traditional holiday colors and made decorations that can be used for the holidays, since we thought that it’s important to help others lift their holiday spirits, especially, during hard times in their lives.

Our members made a variety of ornaments, heart pillows, beanies, friendship bracelets, journals, and cards.  We hope that our gifts put a smile on cancer patients’ faces. Meanwhile, we believe that helping others is one of the best ways to kickstart the holiday spirit for ourselves.

Volunteers who participated in this event are Nicholas Wang (12/26/22, 3 hours), Grace Gao (12/26/22, 5 hours), Alice Cheng (12/26/22, 5 hours), Alan Cheng (12/26/22, 2 hours), Matthew Guo (12/26/22, 5 hours), Eric Sun (12/26/22, 5 hours), Kevin Chen (12/30/22, 5 hours), Eric Sun (12/30/22, 5 hours)and Luna Chen (12/30/22, 5.5 hours).
