Columbus Branch Prepared for Designs for Chinese bookmark stall at a local high school lunar new year event on December 29th 2022

In supporting a Lunar new year celebration in a local high school, a new tradition that started last year, AYLUS will again be in charge of the craft stalls in this years event on January 21st. AYLUS plans to have a Chinese bookmark table, a Chinese bracelet table, and a Chinese paper-cutting craft table.

On December 29th, members got together and practiced and selected designs for the Chinese bookmarks. They made and selected a few bunny, lantern, and bamboo designs, as well as Chinese character for bunny. AYLUS alumni, Aidan Li, also helped in this preparation.

Members are eager to volunteer again at the event promoting culture awareness and inclusiveness.
