On December 10, 2022, Murrieta AYLUS members lended a hand to the A Brush with Kindness project.
After a quick safety briefing, everyone got to work. They found painting to get much easier with time, and with prior experience, everyone was able to cover a lot more ground in a short amount of time. After two hours everyone eagerly took a short break with water and crackers, before returning. After the paint job on the home was finished, everyone moved on to the pillars. Since they were plastic and metal, a few coats of the paint were necessary to ensure full coverage, but with teamwork they finished quickly.
Members finished by picking up and folding all the tarps lying around the house. They put all the folded tarps into the trailer and when they finished, they walked around the house to make sure everything was put away and in its proper place.
