Chapel Hill Branch Volunteers at PORCH on Dec 11th, 2022

Hunger is a great problem in the world. One in every six children in North Carolina is facing hunger. On December 11th, the members of the AYLUS Chapel Hill branch went to PORCH Chapel Hill to help double-bag almost 400 paper bags. These large bags are then filled to the brim with food and groceries and then delivered to the front doors of those in need. Our actions are to make sure families have food over the holidays. We hope our team’s help positively influences the community around us. Together, we can help those in need!

The members who participated in this activity are Sven Li (1.5 hours), Joshua Yoon (1 hour), Joanna Yoon (1 hour), Grace Gao (1 hour), Eric Sun (1 hour), and Jack Xu (1 hour).
