On Monday, December 12th, four members of the AYLUS-Chapel Hill branch visited UNC Hospital to donate the Kits To Heart gift boxes for cancer patients. As always, the gift boxes were very delightful, packed with our unique, custom, handmade pieces, such as beautifully designed origami cranes and hearts, colorful friendship bracelets, holiday-style heart-shaped pillows, handmade journals and cards with inspirational quotes, and more. We were very happy to be sharing a bit of holiday spirit with patients. Our members hope these gifts help us deliver a little light and support when patients needed most.
The volunteers who participated in this event are Nicholas Wang (2 hours), Luna Chen (1 hour), Michelle Lan (1 hour), and Eric Sun (1 hour).
