San Diego Branch Volunteers Participated “Children Flea Market” Charity Sales Fundraising Event on Nov 13, 2022

Project Butterfly is a program dedicated to building libraries in Uganda, East Africa. This event aims to collect & ship used books to build 5 libraries for K-8 students in Africa in this year and another 3 libaraies in next year. In support of this “African Library Book Drive”, AYLUS San Diego Branch volunteers pariticipated “Children Flea Market” Charity Sales event on Nov 13, 2022 to raise fund for the shipping cost of used books to Uganda.

By donating books, AYLUS hopes to make literature and knowledge accessible to all. With this Arican Library Book Drive and Fundraising event, we also want to call out to our community regarding the importance of education, especially to those less fortunate than us.
