On Oct 5th, 2022, AYLUS Cheshire Branch wrote summaries for the Cheshire Public Library’s “Teen Summaries” from 4:00 PM – 6:00PM. The volunteers worked in a small study room to submit reviews, with some students submitting at home/remotely. These summaries help give other students recommendations of which books to choose, and have a 300 word requirement. Upon completing a summary and being reviewed by the librarian, two community service hours are awarded to the summary writer. Below are some pictures of the event:
