On Sunday, July 31st, the AYLUS Columbus branch volunteered at the Dublin Giving Garden at Coffman Park from 7:30 to 8:30 pm. The volunteers watered the plants in the garden, careful to not overwater them. Volunteers also removed many weeds inside and around the garden, specifically focusing on a large root of an overgrown weed stuck in the fence. The weeds were properly placed inside the provided lawn bags and the compost bin. All the plants, including different types of vegetables and flowers, were growing very well. Careful attention was provided as to not damage the produce.
