Columbus Branch Volunteered at Dublin Giving Garden on July 11, 2022
Dulbin Giving Garden is located at Historic Coffman Homestead, just next to the Dublin City hall.  The eight-bed garden produces fresh veggies and herbs, which are tended to by City of Dublin volunteers.  The produce is donated to the Dublin Food Pantry by the end of each planting season.  It’s a win-win-win for a piece of public land being put to great use for those who need some fresh, healthy doses of goodness.
For the upcoming 2022 gardening season, we are excited to get involved again. There was a lot to weed, on the ground floor and in the beds themselves. All members were hard working on it, digging out all kinds of weeds and placing them in two lawn bags.  The garden looked great afterwards.
