On June 18, 2022, the AYLUS Irvine Branch had volunteers help out and assist the Shadetree Nursery located next to the University of California, Irvine.
This event occurred from 8:30 to 11:30 in the morning, and the partnership’s mission is to let “enthusiastic volunteers grow, care for and nurture trees, shrubs and groundcover for planting on public lands including schools, parks, churches, and cities.” Throughout the activity, our volunteers relocated trees, helped with planting, and much more. They were also able to learn a great amount and enjoyed the activity very much!
