AYLUS Bridgewater Helps Construct Community Garden (4/23/2022)

AYLUS Bridgewater worked together in order to construct a community garden in one of our member’s backyards. This garden will be used to grow produce to donate to those who are in need. We worked on many different parts of the garden, such as the construction of a fence, the creation of a compost pile, and digging a drainage tunnel. Members also worked on planting various crops, such as lettuce and tomatoes. It was a very good experience for the members, as we had fun working for a common goal, and coming up with ingenious solutions to problems we faced during construction. This project took several weeks, with groups of members coming in to help each weekend.
