AYLUS Bellaire Branch Volunteered in ECHOS Food Pantry Program on March 26, 2022

Members of the AYLUS Bellaire branch volunteered at Epiphany Community Health Outreach Services (ECHOS) in Houston, Texas on Saturday, March 26, 2022, from 9am to 11am.

ECHOS was formed to provide new immigrants, refuges, and other needy families in the surrounding community with basic economic and social needs in order to improve their quality of life. One of its programs, the Food Pantry, provides thousands of individuals with nutritious food each year. The volunteers today sorted and packed many bags of non-perishable goods like canned spinach and peaches, walnuts, and noodles, which would be set up for distribution in later drives.

Three volunteers participated in this event (2 hours): Aria Jin, Miranda Wang, and Helena Wang (project leader).
