On January 19th, AYLUS San Diego Branch volunteers hosted a tutoring Program. The program allows volunteers to provide guidance on a wide array of academic topics to interested students.
The tutoring event focused on ensuring that students understood the topics of discussion. In this event, an 8th Grade Math and English Reading/Writing workshop was set up for attendees.
Kyle Hou tutored Barry Zou on 8th Grade Math on Wednesday, 1/19, for an hour and a half.
Andrew Zhou tutored Jessica Jiang on English Speaking, Reading, and Writing on Thursday, 1/20, for an hour and a half.
Andrew Chen tutored John Zou on Asian History on Sunday, 1/22, for an hour and a half.
Kyle Huo tutored Jessica Jiang on Science on Sunday, 1/23, for an hour and a half.
In total, there were 6 participants in this event, with 4 volunteers.
