AYLUS San Diego continues Humanities Challenge Camp (90th) on the Third Week of November 2021

During the third week of November, AYLUS San Diego Branch volunteers continued their Humanities Challenge Camp Program. The program allows volunteers to provide English/Chinese reading, writing, speaking, and communication to their students, and also to teach students history or foreign languages such as Spanish.
They had conversations over Zoom or Facetime, teaching students about topics they are interested in, such as movies, games, and school. Volunteers placed an emphasis on helping their students grow accustomed to speaking and writing in the taught language. Their language challenge camp activities included:

Ryan Hua tutored Darren Cui, Katherine Backues, Eva Mather, Tristan Shi, and Annabelle Liao on European History on Sunday, 11/21, for an hour and a half.

Andrew Chen tutored John Zou on English Reading on Sunday, 11/21, for an hour and a half.

In total, there were 8 participants in this event, with 2 volunteer.

The AYLUS San Diego Committee organized the 88th online Language Challenge Camp activity on November 20th, 2021.
