On October 9, the Sugar Land Branch continued its butterfly garden maintenance project at the Memorial Park Butterfly Garden in collaboration with the Sugar Land Parks and Recreation Department. Members watered the flowers and pulled weeds, giving the desirable plants room to grow. As the weather has been getting colder, there have been more dead branches in the garden, which members have broken off and disposed of.
The participating members were Jason Yen, Runyan Zhou, Serena Li, Emma Jiang, and Albon Wu.
