This Sunday, The Phoenix Branch planned and attended their PVSA acceptance ceremony at Chandler City Hall from 4-4:30pm. It was a scorching Sunday in Arizona, but the volunteers worked all year to win the Presidential Volunteering Service Award(PVSA) which is signed by the president of the US, so it was worth waiting in the heat. The Mayor of Chandler gave the awards and took pictures with the volunteers as well while having a great time.
