Greater Temecula Valley AYLUS Begins Rebuilding Library Bookshelves Project (1st) in July 2021

On July 6th, 2021, Greater Temecula Valley AYLUS member Ally Negulescu (3 hrs) rolled up her sleeves and began working on rebuilding and renovating library bookshelves for a needed facility!

Because of the recent pandemic, many activities were either put to a halt or cancelled all together. It has only been recently that things are starting to slowly go back to normal. One such project that was paused due to the pandemic was the Hsi Fang Temple’s “library renovation” project. Lately, an Oceanside Library was generous enough to donate book shelves to the Hsi Fang Temple, which needed volunteers to help move and assemble the shelves. Moving the shelves to the second floor has been finished, and we started to assemble them to the new location. The most difficult part was to get each piece in its place from the loose pile of dissembled shelves. We measured and assigned each shelf according to the installation plan, and at this time we are looking forward to bringing more people to help for the next part of the project!

We can not wait to see how the final library book shelves would look with those awesome books to be shared with the reading community. Reading enhances your learning abilities and books are full of knowledge. Read, Read, and Read!
