Phoenix Branch Donates Face Masks, Crayons, and Other Items to ICAN on May 27, 2021

On May 27, 2021, members from the Phoenix branch donated 300 face masks, 100 ear savers, 2 bottles of running alcohol, 4 boxes of CURAD prep pads, and 10 boxes of crayons, along with $42.46 made from our MOD pizza fundraiser led by the economics committee chair, Michael Randolph.

ICAN is a free youth center in the East Valley that offers programming for youth, teens, families, and the community. ICAN’s nationally recognized prevention programming teaches disadvantaged youth real-life skills including goal setting, positive decision making, and how to avoid the risky behaviors that are prevalent in the community ICAN serves.

The crayons donated by AYLUS will be used as part of ICAN’s art programs for their students. The other PPE-related items will be used to ensure safety and even more precautions at ICAN.
