Towson Branch Member Hosted Online Chemistry Class (Classes 11-14) in December.

Towson Branch Member Kelly Chen hosted 4 Online Chemistry Classes in December. Kelly continued to use Jamboard in order to keep the class very interactive. Nine students took these classes weekly throughout this month. 

Class 11 (December 4) covered the names of the common polyatomic ions and more nomenclature rules. 

Class 12 (December 11) covered various reaction types such as synthesis, combustion, single replacement, and double replacement reactions. 

Class 13 (December 18) covered the 3 things that are conserved in a reaction: mass, charge, and energy.

Class 14 (December 23) covered various steps and tips for balancing chemical reactions. 

Participants: Kelly Chen (2.5 hr each for Class 11, and 3 hrs each for Classes 12, 13, and 14. The total for December is 11.5 hrs).
