Sugar Land Branch Continues Fall Stay Fit At Home Exercise Sessions (#35) on November 7

On November 7, Sugar Land Branch continued the Stay Fit At Home Exercise Sessions. This session was an all-out workout that strengthened arm, leg, and core muscles, in addition to building stamina. Participants first did various arm exercises with weights including bicep curls. Nicole and Isabella introduced new movements such as “Up-Side-Down Raises” and “one arm rows” for more variety. For leg exercises, participants followed instructors in doing front, side, and back lounges for both legs. Following, participants did some ab exercises, including the infamous (for its difficulty) “infinities” movement. After, there was a jump set to strengthen leg muscles while building stamina. Lastly, instructors introduced “Planksgiving,” where we will increase the duration of holding a plank (by 15 second) week by week until Thanksgiving. Instructors hope this activity will help build participants’ core muscles as well as their perseverance. This week, participants held a 1 minute plank. Instructors were Nicole and Isabella Wu.
