Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Columbus AYLUS branch no longer makes its bi-weekly in-person visits to Senior Star at the Dublin Retirement Village. Instead, volunteers in the branch continued their tradition of the long-running Music for You project through digital music video filming and editing. Branch members Nicole Lin, Joseph Lin, Max Li, Christina Jin, Gavin Ni, Rachel Zhu, Emma Yu, Dustin He, Andrea Yu, Brenna Li, Aidan Li, Patrick Wang, Kevin Wang, Catherine Harman, Angelika-Lili Susanto, and Erica Shen each filmed their musical performances at home. They played beautiful piano or violin pieces or music with other instruments. Kevin Wang, Rachel Zhu, and Erica Shen edited the clips, with Andrea Yu as the scriptwriter. On 11/06/2020, Erica Shen sent the completed performance video to Senior Star. The student volunteers hope the music can bring a little joy to the seniors during this difficult time.
