Along with about 30 other people, I was able to raise more than 10,000 pounds of food for our local food drive. In addition to the 10,000 pounds of non-perishable goods collected, we also raised over $2,000 dollars for the food drive!
This food drive began around May and since then, we have been collecting non-perishable goods and raising money for the Woodlands area’s food drive. For each dollar donated, the Montegomery County Food Bank delivered 3.5 nutritious meals.
