On Saturday, August 15, from 11am-1pm, the New York Branch helped clean litter and debris from the trails along the shore in the Silver Lake Preserve. The branch cleaned 184 pounds of garbage, and helped to preserve the beauty and environment from pollution.
The volunteers that participated were Jerry Xia, Timothy Wang, Alice Wang, Grace Gong, Kevin Gong, Sarah Luo, Sophie Luo, Kevin Xia, Larry Tao, Christine Tao, Zhuoyi Zou, Zhouwen Zou, Cindy Zhao, Haley Zhang, Vera Sun, Ryan Chen, David Huang, Lily Huang, Chelsea Wang, and Kevin Deng.
