Columbus Branch Made and Donated 100 Clinical Goody Bags to Sawmill Dental Care

The owner of the clinic, Dr. Hongwei Wang, has long been actively involved in community service himself. This donation aimed at not only helping the vulnerable patient community the clinic serves during the COVID-19 pandemic, but also showing appreciation for Dr. Wang’s selfless contribution to the community.

This donation marks the completion of the project proposed by Columbus member, Aidan Li, titled “Homemade COVID-19 preventative measure for local communities: an initiative from a student-lead volunteer group, AYLUS-Columbus”, supported by the Chinese American Pathologist Association’s 2020 COVID-19 relief fund. In total, the Columbus branch made and donated 300 clinical goody bags and 16 16-oz handrubs to three local organizations including KidSmile pediatric dental office, Central Ohio Transit Authority and Sawmill Dental Care.
