On June 19, 2020, volunteers from the Irvine Branch of AYLUS hosted its first online AMC 8 prep class. Students committed to improving on the AMC 8 competition joined for a very fun class through the Zoom platform. Around 20 students were taught by three dedicated teachers in their quests to spread the joy of math.
Today, we were able to cover many problems that varied among the topics of probability, algebra, counting, geometry, and more. The students had a blast solving the problems and explaining their unique solutions to the rest of the class. All in all, it was a very great class!
