Columbus Branch Donated Home Made Face Shields on April 4-10, 2020

On 04/04-04/10/2020 AYLUS Columbus donated home made face shields.
Volunteers Catherine Harman, Brenna Li, and Aidan Li of the AYLUS Columbus Branch created 110 homemade face shields based off of a YouTube video of DIY facemasks, whose design was further optimized by the volunteers to fit more comfortably. On April 5, 30 shields were made and donated to healthcare professionals at Mt. Carmel St. Ann’s Hospital. On April 6, 30 shields were donated to healthcare professionals at the OSU Wexnar medical center. On April 10, 50 shields were donated to a local Asian grocery store, Park to Shop.
