On January 5th, 2020, four students from the San Diego Branch of AYLUS, Chengda Li, Chengming Li, Eric Lin and Jerry Wang, brought the donation money that the AYLUS San diego Branch raised to the San Diego Brain Injury Foundation. They hand delivered the $1,000 check to the SDBIF President Kurt Buske, and also set goals for future collaboration in the year ahead.

The donation money was raised by all the San Diego Branch volunteers through various activities, such as recycling plastic bottles or hosting garage sales. The four students selected to deliver the check were the four volunteers who contributed the most in activities which raised money for the SDBIF.

Through this event, not only did San Diego Branch show their support for bettering the lives of those with brain injuries, but also strengthened connections between the SDBIF and San Diego Branch. It opened doors and allowed opportunities for future partnership and collaborations.
