San Diego Branch organized 26th English for the Elderly activity on November 3rd, 2019

On November 3rd, 2019, San Diego students of AYLUS organized the 26th English for the Elderly activity. The goal of this activity is to help elderly men and women from China learn the basics of English so that they’re able to use them in their daily lives.

Through this activity, AYLUS volunteers were able to teach 7 elderly men and women common English phrases and sentences. Not only were the “students” able to improve their understanding of and ability to speak the English language, but the volunteers also improved their patience and confidence through this event.

The following students participated in the 26th English for the Elderly activity: Kyle Xie, Michael Wang, Ruiqi Ding, Emma Li, Haobin Cao, Jonathan Backues, Hausen Wu and Yufei Zhang.

The AYLUS San Diego Committee organized the 26th English for the Elderly activity on November 3rd, 2019.
