Columbus Branch Participated in Walk to End Alzheimer’s on September 22nd, 2019

The annual Walk to End Alzheimer’s was held on September 22d, 2019 at the Huntington Park in downtown Columbus. This charity event aims at raising funds to further the care, support and research efforts of the devastating disease that currently still has no cure. All proceeds of the event go to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Follow last year’s tradition, AYLUS went to volunteer this year at the event finishing line to greet the participants on the Walk day. Amy Xuan, Kyle Xuan, Eileen Liang, Michelle Zong, Dorian Tricaud, Michelle Lin, Catherine Harman, Katie Lu, Emma Yu, and Brenna Li, some parents, and one of the group advisors participated in this volunteering activity. In purple or white event T shirt, with purple cowbells, pompoms, and boom sticks, different colors of Alzheimer’s flowers, and the super artistic and creative posters that the group prepared ahead of time, the volunteers thanked and encouraged walkers of all ages as they walked in memory of families and friends, or simply in support of a cure. The group was also deeply moved by the caring and supportive spirits of the walkers.
