On May 12, 2019, The North Oakland Branch of AYLUS helped fundraise money for the Hopi Native Americans. This event was held at a Korean-American cultural center. We prepared for the event for the past two weeks on Saturdays and Sundays. The members bought Krispy Kreme Doughnuts and sold them to bypassing people. Doughnuts, coffee, cookies, and other foods. Members made slogans and signs in order to draw the attention of customers. This event lasted for around 3 hours and was very successful. All in all, people immensely enjoyed the good food and high spirits during the event. The even fundraised around 2,500 dollars.
