Columbus Branch helped out the Walk to End Alzheimer’s on September 23, 2018

On September 23rd, 2018, AYLUS travelled to Home Plate Stadium in downtown Columbus to help out the Walk to End Alzheimer’s. This was an annual charity event dedicated to funding research for Alzheimer’s disease. Alice, Dorian, Amy, some parents, and the group advisor greeted the participants as they walked in memory of family or simply in support of a cure. With cowbells, posters, pompoms, and purple t-shirts, the volunteers thanked and encouraged walkers of all ages to keep making progress. The elderly and children alike can be affected personally by this disease. All proceeds go to the Alzheimer’s Association.

Special shoutout to Alice for being enthusiastic and cheering for the entire two hours.
