On September 8th, 2018, members of the San Diego AYLUS branch participated in an invasive species removal hosted by the San Diego River Park Foundation. From 9 AM to 12 AM, the students worked on a river trail to remove plants that weren’t native to the environment. These plants were deemed harmful due to how they disrupted the ecosystem of the native plants.
