San Diego Branch Organized 36th Computer for Kids Lab on August 11th, 2018

On August 11th, 2018, students from the San Diego Branch of AYLUS organized and participated in the 36th Computer for Kids Lab, repairing and cleaning electronic devices in order to prepare them to send to children of low-income families. This helps the kids achieve academic success through possible access to technology.

In two hours, the participants did the following:

  • 80 Tablets Reset & Prepared for Distribution

So far, the San Diego branch students have accomplished the following since the first Computer for Kids Lab started:

  • Diagnosed, repaired, tested, or sleeved 3,189 notebooks/netbooks/laptops/tablets/desktops
  • Tested and repaired 108 LCD monitors
  • Diagnosed, tested, wiped, counted, and cloned 2,897 hard drives
  • Wrapped/folded, sorted, and packed 6,262 mice, and power cords/adaptors
  • Tested and Bagged 125 Speakers
