San Diego Branch Organized 25th Computer for Kids Lab on June 22, 2018

On June 22nd, 2018, students from the San Diego Branch of AYLUS organized and participated in the  25th Computer for Kids Lab to repair electronic devices and give them to children of low-income families to help kids achieve academic success through technology.

The participants did the following:

  • Wrapped & Cleaned 300 Power Adapters for Tablets
  • Cleaned & Tested 26 Monitors – Ready for Distribution
  • Got 60 Tablets Ready for Scanning
So far, the San Diego branch students have accomplished the following since the first Computer for Kids Lab started:
  • Diagnosed, repaired, and tested 60 notebooks/netbooks/laptops/tablets/desktops
  • Tested and repaired 26 LCD monitors
  • Wrapped/folded, sorted, and packed 300 mice, and power cords/adaptors

The following volunteers participated: Colin Huang, Daniel (Chengming) Li, Samuel (Chengda) Li, Andrew Peng, Joshua Trost, Emily Wang, Kevin Wang, Michael Wang, Boguang Wu, Eric Xu, Claude Yang, Nathan Yang, and Andrew Zhang.

The AYLUS San Diego Committee organized the 25th Computer for Kids Lab.
