On March 17, 2018, the AYLUS Columbus Branch volunteered at the Senior Star, performing for seniors living there for a hour. Volunteers included Jason Guo on saxophone, Aidan Li on piano, Eileen Liang on piano, Alice Nie on flute, Justin Guo on cello, Derek Han on violin, Ethan Chung on cello, Evan Yu on piano, Michelle Lin on violin, Michelle Zong on violin, Amy Xuan on viola, and Lawrence Zhang on violin. Styles of pieces ranged from classical to pop music. The seniors loved the performance, and one man came around take shake many of the performers’ hands. It was a wonderful evening.
