Columbus Branch Performed at Dublin Retirement Village on December 2, 2017

The AYLUS Columbus Branch had another successful performance at the Dublin Retirement Village on Saturday, December 2. Although short on volunteers with only seven people participating, Amy Xuan – violin, Justin Guo – cello, Alice Nie – flute, Claire Li – violin, Eileen Liang – piano, Gavin Ni – viola, and Michelle Lin – violin, the event was no less significant. A variety of music was played ranging from Christmas music to Classical to foreign songs. A diversity of instruments were also present including a flute and violin duet by Alice and Amy. Many seniors had already arrived before the performance started and more joined later. It is a wonderful experience to be able to interact with the community and seniors. We hope to bring more value to their lives as well as our own.
