Chapel Hill Branch Hand-made Christmas Gifts for Seniors

On October 15, 2017, the AYLUS Chapel Hill Branch brainstormed the gift ideas for the seniors at Meadowmont Senior Living Center in this fast approaching holiday season. They decided to fold origami to express their care and warm wishes. The members involved in this new project were Christina, Grace, Rebecca, Mark, Jiarong and Selina. Those who were new to the art of paper folding, especially the boys, were helped out by others with more experience. The members collaborated well and have made several different origami, such as beautiful cranes, colorful flowers, and much more. These origamis were meant as small Christmas presents for the seniors at Meadowmont Center.
